The perfect place to meet, mingle, linger and unwind, period beamed ceilings, seductive open fires and beautiful wooden floors create an ambient space that overflows with charm and character. Topped off with the warmest of welcomes, you’ll surely want to return time and time again.
As a rural retreat we know that many of our visitors have four-legged friends and the Halfway Bridge welcomes well behaved dogs in the bar and in the garden. Only access dogs are permitted in the restaurant and in Cowdray Barns.
An excellent choice of ales includes Doom Bar, ales from local Arundel brewery, and also from the Langham micro-brewery in Lodsworth, just two minutes away from our front door.
As exciting as it is extensive, more than fifty carefully selected wines and champagnes feature on our wine list. More than twenty of these are available by the glass. We are proud to serve local sparkling wine from our neighbours in Tillington, Upperton Vinyard.
A comprehensive range of spirits, lagers and soft drinks is also available, as well as best quality coffee, teas and tisanes.
